Walnut Konjac Cleansing Sponge

Double-sided Konjac sponge cleanses pores deeply

The natural and gentle Walnut Konjac Sponge is meant for cleansing and scrubbing any type of facial skin. Using the Konjac sponge cleanses pores deeply and stimulates the superficial circulation in skin. The Konjac sponge has two sides: on one side there are walnut granules to scrub skin effectively and the other side cleanses gently. You could use the scrubbing side 1–2 times a week. Use the cleansing side daily for gently cleansing your skin either with a cleansing product or without any. The Konjac sponge is also great for peeling lips gently.

Konjac sponges are made by boiling the roots of the Konjac plant, also called Rivière titan arum, to create a paste. The paste is filtered through volcanic rock, creating the porous structure of the sponge. No colorants or preservatives are used in the manufacturing process. The cleansing sponge is made of a completely natural material; it is biodegradable and environmentally friendly, and as a natural product it contains minerals and antioxidants beneficial to skin. Titan arum has neutral pH and therefore the sponge has a gentle effect on skin. The sponge is approx. 5,5 x 7 cm in size.

When dry, the Konjac sponge is hard as a rock, but in warm water it will quickly swell and soften and soon it will be ready for use. Cleanse your face with a moist sponge by rolling it over the face. This way the sponge will gently cleanse the skin and scrub off any dead skin cells. At the same time it will stimulate the superficial circulation in skin, freshen tired skin and activate the generation of new skin cells as well. In the end, rinse your face thoroughly.

Always rinse the sponge carefully after use. Squeeze excess water out of the sponge, but don’t twist it. Hang it up to dry in a well ventilated place. Never place the moist sponge in a bag or closed box. This way you can use the product longer. Replace your Konjac sponge after using it for 2 to 3 months or when its structure starts to crumble.
